K-77 Tweeter Diaphragm Replacement

Simply speakers has a video on their web site as well.  It's not that hard.  Trickiest part for me was making sure the voice coil goes in the groove without damage.

I am probably overly neat so for me yes, new gasket.

 

From a practical point of view, perhaps the glue is enough to fill the voids.

 

This kid has apparently been doing speakers since he could crawl, his father is his teacher.

 

So yes, his repairs all look easy.....

Hopefully before anyone installs that nasty rope caulk, you are first putting on some blue painters tape......
