Yep My electric tends to go out if someone farts to hard, so before the rush I hit up TSC (tractor supply co.) for a cheep generator in case,

We have a freezer full of meat, the generator is one hell of a lot cheaper than replacing 10  cubic feet of meat

Rather have it setting here and not need it, than need it and not have it..........................

last week we were told by the weather man our rain would end on Wed the 23rd, had rain every day since and now they are saying up to 10 inches BEFORE the storm comes in

Need to invent a way to box up all this water and deliver it to Ca.

At the least we are expected to get too much rain.  Gary's vacation spot on the OBX might get some heavy winds.  Thebes and jacksonbart may get their hair muffed a bit.

I do very little to prepare having gone through so many.  Batteries for the flash lights, fill the tubs with water (to flush toilets), secure small things outside, keep the frig closed.  Move the cars down to the school (no garage).

Clean up is no fun as I live amongst the trees and critters

Be safe!

If it is going to muff up Thebes hair it is going to be a horrific disaster.  :P

Dave

We took a pass this year.

I don't think that possible unless your talking about his chest ?

Well Tarheel and anyone up the east coast be careful, trees and stray tornados cause many problems.

Yep the Gulf coast didn't even get a threat, fine with me.

The drill doesn't change, move the outdoor furniture into the basement, tie the bbq to the fence, move all the deck boxes inside, all hanging plants get taken down and placed along the north fence line. Utility boxes that hold the garbage cans get tied with paracord to the nearest trees. Frozen bottles of water are already in the chest freezer and basement fridge. Empty Propane tanks will be filled, cars gas upped with one of them if need be, moved to the local air national guard parking lot for safety. Flashlights checked, lighters ready, woodpile secured. With any luck this baby spins out into the Atlantic. Best of luck to those in the NC & Virginia region as you guys look to be taking the brunt of this one. Stay safe.
