Max2
A little off topic, but who better to remember cool things that are gone but the Klipsch group here. I'm sure you guys can come up with better things, but this one has had me stumped for decades. This one is for the older crowd, but why did the Marathon candy bar disappear ? It was awesome. Like a braided belt made out of caramel dipped in chocolate. They even had a ruler on the back. It was king of candy bars friends, and its now gone.

Mallette
Sun Crest orange in the dark brown ribbed bottles. Sure you don't mean Orange Crush? Brown ribbed bottle and it actually had some pulp in it. Man, so good. Modern stuff is just chemical orange in soda water. Dave

Max2
A few lessor things: Arcades. At least the kids could have some social interaction meeting new friends, now they stay locked up in front of the Demon box, playing a Demon shooting good guys. What about MTV and the music videos? I already hear people grumbling over this one, but it had a good run and I enjoyed some of the videos. Heck even I was young then. Did groups get paid any royalties with videos? I don't know..... Cane Sugar. Why is it gone? It tastes so much better, but the dang boutique drinks you get with it at the store are expensive. Mallette
I remember that one, two. But I don't recall anything but Crush ever being in a brown bottle...and Crush was the best. I was a big fan of NuGrape as well. Very bubbly, less sweet than Grapette. Dave

The pulp made it but I could drink one in about three gulps.....didn't last long. Anyone pour peanuts from the bag into Coke or Pepsi?

Anyone pour peanuts from the bag into Coke or Pepsi? Not so much, though others did. However, in my hometown we had a local drive in call Guy's Orange. Best orange drink ever from a recipe that went to the grave with Guy Glover. It came with a little paper ketchup cup of salted peanuts. I really thing it was the salt that amplified the flavor...but EVERYBODY indulged. Especially good with one of his huge Texas Burgers and fries! I could have bought a cheap car for the 200.00 I spent on my first speakers. But I preferred the speakers... Dave
