Anyone in Texas attending CEDIA this week?

 

Klipsch is having the 4000 & 6000 Pro Series at the booth.

 

Along with: Pro Series THX U2, Cinema Series, RP-280FA

Well that's interesting.  My rep didn't say the word Jamo when saying where they came from, I would have recognized it.  Never would have thought to look at them.  I guess technically it's all the same company though, not real sure how they split it up.

That is really interesting. The site says they use a Titanium Tweeter vs a Silk Dome Tweeter on the Klipsch. Guess I need to hook up and take a listen to see what it sounds like. :)

Here is the strange wording from the Wikipedia article:  "Klipsch also moved away from silk diaphragms to different driver-diaphragm materials like phenolic, aluminum and titanium, to inject a purer sound into the horn in the first place."  History in reverse?

No horn...silk dome tweeters...if they didn't have a Klipsch logo, I wouldn't have guessed they were a Klipsch product.

I was told they came from a well known and well respected speaker design group. A name was dropped but I didn't exactly write it down.

After looking at the Jamo sight.....I now know where the Best Buy R series sub comes from.I guess they are all one Company
