jason str
These woofers are shot. Last night i only threw a bit of power to them and they do work well but today i ran the volume up as my epoxy was cured enough on the dustcaps not to worry about it coming loose. Snap, crackle & pop. Yeah, its that bad. I will look for some recone kits, if they are not available or too expensive i may as well just save for the Delta Pro 12's. This is why i hate buying used stuff.

jason str
Yes, thank you. Very dissapointing. Not to worry though, i will have these up and sounding & looking sweet sooner or later. Will keep posting updates as things progress. Klipsch no longer stocks parts though they have the K-28's in stock but the price is about the same as the Delta Pro 12A's. Quiet_Hollow
TCH web sells the stock gasket material for anyone interested in restoration. It's a nice touch over what's typically available at the hardware stores. 1/16 x 3/4 neoprene foam tape. Used it to service every cab I've ever built or overhauled. :emotion-21:
jason str
I find the 1/4" wide material much easier to bend around the corners and not bunch up but whatever is best for you is the way to go. That neoprene is a better material i agree but its easily replaced either way you roll.
