About a year ago, I was ready to purchase a Lutron Spacer SPS-5WCR-WH Master Controller for the new upgraded room.  My Lutron Maestro only has 1 Scene and with the redesign, I want to have lighting behind the AT Screen so that I can light up the LaScala Trio and two of the RSW-15's with lighting.  In order to do this, I would need the SPS-5WCR-WH.  I was given a few individual dimmer switches from a friend in the audio business but he didn't have the Master Controller.

That single unit has been selling for $265 + $34.99 shipping on Amazon.  After Wakejunkie's strokes, it put a halt to the redesign of my front wall.  I knew it would be a long time before we would begin to work on it again so I held off on the purchase.  In the past year, I have watched Ebay and have only found one SPS-5WCR-WH for sale and the guy wanted $175 for it.  I offered $99 shipped and he declined.  The item ended with no bidders but the seller never relisted it.  I contacted the seller but didn't hear a reply.

Fast forward 6 months to today.....I was just the winning bidder of this NIB one for a total of $17.01 shipped!  Now that's the type of Youthman deal I am willing to purchase.  :D  Another step closer to the new front wall with an upgraded 150" Seymour AT screen.  As I have always shared, insane deals are out there....you just gotta be patient.

This is the same unit that wakejunkie has in his HT.

In the Tour of Wakjunkie's Home Theater thread, I posted how he has his Spacer System setup with his Harmony.  Very nice touch!  Can't wait to add the ability to have multiple lighting scenes in my setup.

In typical Wake fashion, he spent many hours setting up his Harmony and adding some really cool sequences.

For example, he created a macro in the Harmony so that when he hits the "Play" button on the remote, the lights turn off.  If you need to pause during the movie, pressing the "Pause" button will of course pause the movie, but it will activate one of the 4 "Scenes" that have been programmed into the Lutron Spacer system to bring the lights up enough to see and move around the room safely.

He has added 4 scenes for lighting and created 6 custom touch screen buttons for the Harmony One.

All On & All Off

Scene 1 - Movie:  All lights at 0% except for a few can in the back of the room near the pool table.  Just enought light to walk around without being in total darkness.

Scene 2 - Bar:  Same as scene 1 but adds dim lighting over the "Bar Table" which is perfect for Friday Movie Nights.

Scene 3 - Lights Up:  Lights are around 50%.  This is perfect for music listening and creates a very cool atmosphere highlighting the stonework.

Scene 4 - Game:  Football Party Lighting.  Similar to Scene 2 but more lighting over the pool table area.  This is enough room to eat, have conversation yet dark enough to allow a great picture on the screen.
