Marantz NR1506 Power Question

Recommended Posts

I recently received two Klipsch R-28F floor speakers and one Klipsch R-10SW subwoofer. I plan on using my Marantz NR1506 receiver to run a 2.1 setup. With 50W (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08%) channel power, will this be sufficient to power my proposed setup? Thanks!

Newmember5,

Welcome to the forum.

Unless you are trying to fill a huge room with gobs of volume, then the NR1506 should be fine.  Now I am not going to tell you that the 1506 is going to give you all that the R-28F's have to offer but under most conditions in a smallish room you should be fine.
