jcmusic
I have gone out into much deeper waters now, a deal came my way that I couldn't pass on. I am the new owner of this Redpoint Model D TT with a Triplaner and Microseki arms.
Jim
Can I ask a stupid question? What are the 2 tonearms for?
USNRET
While awaiting the OP to answer let me take a stab......stereo I have always thought it would be to have the ability to mount different arms/cartridges on for different 'sound'. Nice!! Edited January 16, 2016 by USNRET

Schu
Two arms are generally used, also, for rpm differences.
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted January 17, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 17, 2016 There stuff is amazing, and I really like the way you have that rigged up. Now all you need is a third tonearm with a mono cartridge and you have everything you need. So that has the vacuum system? How loud or quiet is that?
jcmusic
Travis it doesn't have a vaccum system, it use mass weight. The setup weighs over 130Lbs. The base and platter are filled with cavities that have lead shot and silicone oil for damping. I will post pics.

TheEvan
That looks incredible. Serious that it had a 3rd arm? What was it? And what will mount on the remaining two. That Tri-planar is supposed to be super.
