ClintonH
Just curious if these are bsically the same speaker as the standard La Scala and if they were a good choice for LR on a front stage for a Home Theater? I found a pair in my province (5 hrs away) for $300 CND.

Frzninvt
Yes, the same as the standard La Scala with the K-43 higher power handling woofer in battlefield armor. Very nice. At $300CDN run don't walk to go get them.
Fjd
$300.00 is a steal as long as all drivers aren't roached. Even greater deal when considering the exchange rate, since $300 CAD is ~ $215 USD. Edited January 30, 2016 by Fjd
ClintonH
Thanks guys, it's actually $300 OBO. I just have to decide if it's worth the 10 hr round trip drive since he doesn't seem to be keen on shipping. BTW anyone have specs on these? I can't seem to find any information on them or the La Scala on the Klipsch site, only the version 2.

twk123
Someone correct me if im wrong but I think you can use these drivers as a drop in: (I am not sure about professionals though) Eminence Kappa-15C 15" Driver 4 Ohmhttp://www.parts-express.com/eminence-kappa-15c-15-driver-4-ohm--290-
Coytee
You can't use them if the speakers are gone!! Go OP GO!!! (As my Grandmother/Grandfather would say "Run run run....Johnny got a gun!"
MookieStl
Yes the Eminence Kappa 15C is a direct drop in for either the K33 or the K43. They even handle the added power like the 43. I am listening to a pair right now in my Belles. At $110 and free shipping, they are a steal. Some like them better than the original drivers. I can only say they sound equally good to me.
twistedcrankcammer
Not trying to ge an AZZ, but you are just being plain STUPID!! Get in the vehicle and GO! Not kidding here, it is a NO-BRAINER!1 Especially with the cost of gas! The K-43E is rated at 200 watts RMS instead of 100 watts RMS, but won't put out as much Bass at low listening levels. Myself, for the home, I would put K-33E's in there anyhow. IndyKlipschRoger is a member on the forum here in Indianapolis and a best friend to Michael Colter and had 7 of these for his home surround sound system. You can buy these and still make money if you do not like them! They are worth $1,000 US with all the driver working! Get your Butt Driving!
