HJE
I have a pair of 1980 Heresy speakers for sale. Original finish is walnut. However, these are covered with black (hopefully semi tack) laminate contact paper. I am not the original owner. Serial numbers are consecutive: 97U121 97U122 Local pick up only or delivery is possible in the south bay area. I will post elsewhere if no offers by this weekend 2/13/16. I hope they get a good home; I just don't have the space anymore. Thanks, EJH

jimjimbo
Looks like Auction-stlye pricing. Um…….must not be familiar with protocol here. So I guess you've been oblivious to the latest Garage Sale discussion thread regarding thread crapping, and Moderators comments regarding same. I'll distill it down for you so you can understand....If you are not involved in the sale, or purchase, STFU. And/Or, you can send the OP a PM. Get it? HJE
My intentions are good here. If I am violating a Klipsch garage sale rule please report me. To answer jweber, I'm not sure what they are worth. It looks like the price range can vary but I will say $450 is fair. Please send me a private message if you are serious about looking at them locally. Thanks, EJH
Carbon_66
I'm interested. $450 is getting up there for mystery walnuts. I'm just outside Los Gatos in the mountains. Where are you?
HJE
Hi carbon_66, I'm on the east side. I'll just piss off the neighbors hehe and you can follow the sound. Let's get together and unwrap them to see the real wood. Can you send me a pm?
Carbon_66
Your post states south bay. Now it's east San Jose. Big difference. Give me a cross street.
HJE
I'm back. And the "mystery walnuts" are relieved. I have not spent a lot of time on these, I'm just not spending a lot of time at any one time... I'm still asking $450 and if you are local I will consider an audition. I consider myself trustworthy and would hope you are too. EJH. - read my history by searching on EJH
wvu80
What did you do EJH, peel the black vinyl off them?
Seadog
Wow! What a transformation. (sorry if I violated Garage Sale policy, but those look about 1000% better now!).

HJE
Thanks for the positive feedback. Wood is good. Peeling off the vinyl was the easy part. Removing the tackiness took some 'elbow grease' I would like to sell these soon. I'm without sound right now and I've got my mind set on a pair of RB-81's Anyone interested?
