Drop ceiling 24"x24" grille

Working on a drop ceiling subwoofer design and cannot find any more of these perforated grilles.

 

Anybody see anything like this lately ?

As our other forum member stated, a local HVAC dealer, cal-em they always have these things laying around.

Thank you, cant find exactly what i need unless i order in bulk from China.

 

Looks like i will have to settle for one of these options or just buy some perforated sheet stock.

That was my first choice and may still be an option.

 

Figured the metal grille would be easier to clean and maintain.

 

Less of a chance of snagging on the sharp drop ceiling parts as well.

How about getting some flat metal grill-like material from Home Depot?  You can get something like expanded metal and make it look fairly nice.  If it is going to be covering you subs in the ceiling, don't forget to secure it well and use stiff material so the frames don't vibrate and make a racket.

Yes, that is the perforated sheet stock i mentioned.

 

May not look quite as visually appealing maybe but it can be better secured with screws and O rings or grommets to keep rattles at bay.
