johnnydrama
$199 actually, but $179 after $20 rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882780073&cm_re=klipsch-_-82-780-073-_-Product
johnnydrama
I thought about buying 2, but it's only good for Qty: 1 per household. Still $199 is not bad for this sub
willland
I think it's a killer deal. It is hard to find a 12 year old mid level subwoofer for $199.99. I may consider it for my computer rig. Bill
Ceptorman
That's quite the deal.
johnnydrama
Bump its back live again. I keep resisting as I have no need for these. Very tempting though
JL Sargent
Best I can tell, the $20 coupon is 1 per household but I think you can buy more than one sub. That's a hell of a deal because that is a $150 amp by itself.
johnnydrama
Correct one per household. But to your point even at $199 it is still a heckuva deal

Schu
Wow... these were just on sale a few days ago for 229 w/ rebate.
teaman
I am not a huge fan of Klipsch subs but that is a good deal. Last time when I tried to purchase them at Fry's they were $179 but unavailable for shipping.
48n123w
FYI - One of the posters in this thread didn't give the SW-112 a very good review: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/162401-subwoofer-to-match-rb-75/
teaman
With the quality of goods Scrappy has had, if he says it sucks...... I would say it sucks...
johnnydrama
For $179 I would say you are certainly getting your moneys worth. I've never heard the sub personally but just saying. JL Sargent
With the quality of goods Scrappy has had, if he says it sucks...... I would say it sucks... Interesting. Show me a better sub for $179.00. Don't think it can be done.

It's hard to find a 12 year old mid level sub for $199 let alone a brand new one for $199 I believe is what he meant. But I see what you are saying. Maybe I am wrong. JL Sargent
I'm also saying I would take Scrappy's word on how it sounds. Scrappy is running 4 huge 18" subs on a 6000W Inuke amp!!!! When it comes to speakers it's all about compromise. This little 12" 300watt sub would sound awesome to 99% of the people out there, but certainly would suck for a sub head like scrappy. JL Sargent
A good sub for the money IMHO is the Klipsch SW450. I have one and it's fine for my needs. It's certainly no comparison to say Carl's IB sub (I think it's 4 18"s too) which I've had the pleasure of listening to on more than one occasion.
