timdog5000
Now that omnimount no longer makes the typically suggested mounts for these speakers(60.0 WB- does anyone have any suggestions that they have used or still use? I will take ceiling or wall mount suggestions, actually I'll gladly take WHATEVER suggestions anyone would offer. Thanks for your time! RoboKlipsch
I used: http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Clamping-Mounting-Surrounding-MS56B/dp/B000X9O8SI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457470325&sr=8-1&keywords=videosecu+speaker+mount with a pair of bookshelves. They work great. However, many reviews talk about the hardware. I DID have to go to the hardware store and get a new pair of bolts and nuts because the ones supplied were not threaded properly. So they aren't perfect out of the box in some cases which is lame. But it holds great, mine are screwed into the stud and could support the 81's no problem I believe. They don't tilt a lot, just a little so don't get them for tilt.
RoboKlipsch
Wow a 28lb speaker. You may want something even stronger. You'd have to do some searching but I'm sure they are out there.

timdog5000
I have found a few viable options that say they will hold them, just curious if someone has some that they know work for sure.
TasDom
I use these for my RB-75's They tilt and swivel, very strong. http://www.pinpointmounts.com/AM-40_Side_Clamping_Bookshelf_Speaker_Wall_Mount.html#.Vt-dkfBHarU I've always wondered if these would work with the mounting holes on the bottom of the 75's and 81's https://emotiva.com/products/accessories/asm-bracket Edited March 9, 2016 by Tasdom

You're welcome and for what it's worth, the RB-75s are almost 5 lbs. heavier and about an inch bigger in both width and height than the RB-81II's. The 81II's are a little bit deeper (11.8 vs. 12.3) but that wouldn't be an issue.
colterphoto1
check out B-Tech BT77. That's what we used to recommend a lot when I was in Tech Support. Not sure of it's weight capacity but neat tilt mechanism. I'd NEVER hang bookshelf speakers from a bracket attached to ceiling however, you're counting on the pull-through strength of a fastener into soft wood (pine ceiling joist).
colterphoto1
http://www.btechavmounts.com/product-range/products/bt77 good to 55 pounds!
timdog5000
http://www.btechavmounts.com/product-range/products/bt77 good to 55 pounds! Thank you for the responses gentleman. I thought I wanted them to come from the ceiling because I could put them a little further out into the room but on the back wall is fine, back surrounds need to be preferably 5 to 7 feet from the back row correct?
