jvert
Has anyone tried the klipsch proline, other then the jubilee, for home use? The KPT 325-m specifically. I know it's not rated to go as low as the cornwalls but other then that?
jvert
I meant to ask how it would compare to the cornwalls.
Chris A
It would compare more than just favorably: the K-510 horn with 2" compression driver is a significant step up from a K-600 midrange horn and K-55 driver, IMO. There are some folks that frequent here that own Klipsch Professional Cinema models like the KPT-904-M for their home theaters, etc. (user:Scrappydue, et al.) If you want an even bigger step up in terms of sound quality and soundstage: http://www.klipsch.com/products/kpt-942-m. Chris
Mike 585
You may also want to look at the KI396. K510 2-way in arguably a more attractive package than the KPT-325 and not voiced for behind the screen.
Moderators dtel Posted March 9, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 9, 2016 Never heard the 325 much but Mike is right about the 396, they sound great, I was quite shocked. Have had alot of time listening to them at Rodneys, amazing sound. i would guess it because of that large 3" horn driver, and it has surprising bass. I know it's not what you asked about but these are amazing, and I listen to much bigger models at home and these really stand out .
