Coytee
1st attempt at a poll.... I don't see it but it seems something is happening? Edited March 10, 2016 by Coytee
Coytee
Had to create the poll AND, had to create a thread
Coytee
Interesting.... seems you can answer the poll without a post!
Matthews
There is no selection for "never".
Quiet_Hollow
Original buyer? I wager that nixes 3/4 of the Heritage crowd. Been with Klipsch for 22 years, but I didn't buy them new.
Coytee
Yeah... probably could be worded better. What I was basically asking is what is your oldest purchase... What I WAS NOT asking was what's your oldest speaker (that might be 50 years old and you bought it a year ago) Buying something used that is already 40 years old, doesn't count. How many years of sweat & ownership do you actually have in the unit. Still....it was just tossed together (the poll) to figure out how to do it. Really nothing more than an experiment. Edit to add: I'm at 37 years (and bought new) Edited March 10, 2016 by Coytee
Ceptorman
I remember the date I got my only Klipsch speakers. It was 1-6-12, the day before I re-married, I'm a Klipsch newlywed
Coytee
Just make sure you remember it was the day before you were married. Remembering the date of your speaker purchase and forgetting your anniversary can do nothing but get you in deep do-hickey.
Ceptorman
Haha….I hear you. I remember my anniversary is always the day after the Klipsch date!
Wolfbane
You need to a category for: 'wife says too long'. Been hearing that since I bought my 1st pair of Cornwalls.

thebes
First pair was factory fresh KG 3.5's. For my mind, still the best value budget speaker on planet. Cannot be beat at their original price point..
Matthews
My very own blood is sealed in the wood of my freshly restored "La Bella" pair. How much ownership time does that score me?
Rivervalleymgb
Bought my first pair at the factory in Hope: raw birch Heresy in 1976, so I just barely made the 40 year crowd.
Moderators dtel Posted March 11, 2016 Moderators Share Posted March 11, 2016 14 years ago, it was just some Synergy, but it was enough to catch the bug.
USNRET
Quartets/Chorus IIs purchased the same week 1990 Iceland and Germany. Attempted to buy LaScalas in the Phillipines around 1984 but I had to return as they wouldn't fit thru the aircraft door. jason str
First set of KG's in mid to late 80's and the Chorus II's shortly after, both purchased new.
mungkiman
I've never purchased new, but bought a pair of (1973) La Scala speakers a few months before I joined this forum 14 years ago. Have only purchased the Heritage line, with the exception (?) of my sequential pair of 1959 Shorthorns. Was introduced to Klipschorns in middle school. Don't own any other brand. Didn't take the poll.
