moray james
really nice looking finish. Did the factory ever do a finish like this? Looks like it could be a nice aftermarket finish, I don't know. Anybody?
Quiet_Hollow
Looks like a tastefully executed vinyl wrap. I seriously doubt that's a genuine Klipsch finish.
twistedcrankcammer
Aftermarket! Routered edges like a theatre model, with handles and trim like a Pro model, no way they came like that. jason str
Granite multi color textured spray. I have used this before, not on cabinets though.

Rivervalleymgb
I had factory routered edges on my first pair of Heresy in '77. Raw birch and Bobby Barham asked if I wanted straight edges or routered. I went with rounded since I wasn't planning on veneering them. mustang guy
Jason, that looks pretty shiny and smooth for textured spray. Is there one that leaves a shiny finish? If so, could you point me to the product?
jimjimbo
I could put those in my kitchen and use them for cutting boards.

You really cannot tell 100% without a close up picture but it sure looks identical to the spray version that i have used previously. I found this stuff: Faux Granite Countertop Paint Here is a match in my opinion: This might look good on a speaker: Edited March 17, 2016 by mustang guy

colterphoto1
The corner treatments are like many KP301 cabinets. Note that not only has he used the correct 'stacking type' plastic corners, but an original Klipsch-type ribbed edge guard has been placed on the front-rear edges underneath the corners. Nice job.
colterphoto1
These either started life as home versions (hence the 3/4" door surface mounted for that 'floating look' and the user added the vinyl doghouse trim piece, or they started life as pro models and he's added some rubber footies underneath. In either case, note the nice routing job on the edges of the mf and hf horn cutouts.
mustang guy
Zolatone imitation granite finish? Thanks, I think you might be more right. That company has several finishes that would match that speaker. Here's the site I found: http://www.zolatone.com/finishes/#/polomyx
