Jersey HBR $400 Central Florida

***Update***3-2-2019 Price Correction $350

***Update*** 2-2-2019

I still have these although now I'm really looking to trade someone for a set of rear surrounds to match my front and side 83's. RS62's maybe?

Also looking to pick up an AVR with Preouts. Maybe Denon x3300 etc.

I bought them back in about 2002 and never asked original owner any specific details about them. Appear to be all original.

I believe you have the first version of the Heresy in Birch Raw finish.  Best wishes with the sale.

You are correct sir.

Im pretty sure those are Heresy 2s.

Note that drivers are mounted on rear of motor board as apposed to front mounted like HII's.

Oh, and plywood construction.

Doesn't the Heresy II's mid horn have a crecsent cutout that the woofer nests in? And, how are the wires terminated? I think the 2s moved from the screw (stud / nut) binding post to a recessed square or round box with the red and black banana post.

I would assume Heresy II would be labeled like this

I believe these are referred to as Heresy 1.5, a transition model between the 1 and 2 model. Mine were built in 1983, the drivers mount on the back of the motorboard and have the older style SN. The horns are made of plastic instead of metal, making mine Heresy 1.5 also. Lot's of info around here on these.

Thanks for all you help guys. The wire connection on the back is just two screws. No recessed cups.

Price correction $350. Sorry for some reason I don't have permission to edit the title.

It will "easily" let me edit it, but when I submit it, it's telling me I'm not logged in, or don't have permission? I figure most people here get the idea anyway.

Switch to web view and sign in and go to the bottom of your fist post and you will see a tab to edit your post. I ran into the same problem yesterday when I wanted to edit my post

And those are H1’s.

Quite correct.  Heresy 1's have the horns and woofers attached to the back of the motor board.  And only H1's have a removable back panel.
