Islander
This is really looking like the year the music died, and it's only April. In this article, the BBC's obituary editor explains why this seems to be a trend. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-36108133

teaman
It has been a bad year. Seems like someone dropping every week. Bowie, Glen Frey, Lemmy, ELP's drummer, Prince.... Take a look at 2003 for wrestlers that died. Same kind of thing with the WWF of the day. They go in threes, sixes and even nines in some years. derrickdj1
I don't know why they died but, I will not ride in any plane with a celebrity on board! Just because it is their time, hell, they may have that death ease on up in the plane and take all of us out with them. Not today Jack, let me bounce on up out of here. Max2
A lot of the icons are getting near the edge. Most have been belting it out since the 60's. Not mentioning any names, but the next 3-5 years will include a lot of subtraction.
rummy
Not everyone gets to live to be 90. Very few make it to 80. A lot wont make it to 70, even though they think it will happen. Get things done NOW.
