Grizzog
I'll be writing a review soon, but I'll say that Klipsch did an amazing job with the 280s.
jjptkd
Any update? I'm curious how the 280's stack up to 7 II's..

RF-7 RF-7 Classic RF-83 RF-7ii There is nothing in the RP Series that competes with it and Heritage is an entirely different speaker than Reference not to mention the size of them greatly reduces the amount of people able to have them in their setup. If they stop making a Flagship Reference Speaker, I believe it will be a huge downgrade and disappointment myself. Hey now!!! I love my Reference Premiere!!!! Grizzog
I could've sworn I wrote about the differences. I'll have to take a look through my posts... If I can't find any posts, I'll try to describe what I thought of the two. Both sets have since gone to new loving homes. Obviously I can't do an A/B now but I remember what I thought was better about each.
Moderators Youthman Posted July 27, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2017 Grizzog, just curious if you ever posted about the differences you heard between the RF-7ii and the RP-280F. I'm still curious if Klipsch plans to replace the RF-7ii or if the RP-28F is now going to be their top level Reference Speaker.
Moderators Youthman Posted July 27, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 27, 2017 Wow, I totally had a brain fart. Completely forgot they are soon to release the RF-7iii which will replace the RF-7ii.
