Giving McIntosh Another Try...

I just got back from my sister's...she is getting things ready to move into her new apartment and thought she might get better use in her 2 channel listening if she had a remote...

I might be able to accommodate her with a Panasonic XR-25 digital receiver that was all the rage some years back...light weight and has a remote if I recall correctly (I haven't used it in some time)...

She said the deal only works if I take back what she has been using for the past 8 plus years...

A McIntosh MA6200 that I bought from Rowe Audio Photo Video back when (through a hook up with my buddy Dodger - remember him???) and next went next to Audio Classics for repair to like new and then on to me...

Seems I never made the love connection with Klipsch and McIntosh back then (I know...horrors  ;) ) so it moved on to her...

Now it's back with me and after a little dusting it is running Dire Straights on a Cambridge Audio Azur 640cV1 and through my Crites upgraded Klipsch Quartets...and it sounds pretty darn nice this time 'round...

Did I do all right in the trade back department???... :P

You might want her to toss in some cash for taking that extra weight off her hands.  B)
