FoD Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 Anyone have this installed? It is for a rec room with a pool table, bar, large marine tank. I am looking for a hidden option behind my bar. I want the room totally open, no visible speakers. Does this throw decent bass? It will be enclosed behind a bar, no real open air (under countertop). Just looking for some thump. billybob Posted May 3, 2016 Share Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) Were you going to use one of the RW-5802 using the RSA-500 sub amp by Klipsch, or 2 of the RW5802 that the RSA-500 can handle? In my opinion, depending on the size of the room, you may be able to get by with one. Decent bass but if looking for real low bass thump, you may consider other Klipsch inwall subs if still available like their 10 inch model which digs deeper and uses the same sub amp. Mine I have used for 2 channel bass reinforcement with decent results. Caveat: I am biased somewhat as I have had one for sale here in the Garage Sale of the forum.
