Lot's of moving mass... That describes Dave's computer room. Big woofers and lots of them. We road tripped to Columbus to pick up his new Klipschorns. Be sure to congratulate him. A more deserving person doesn't exist.  :)

After putting the Khorns in, I was about to get in the truck and head off and Dave invited me to hear his computer speakers.

I think Dave is gonna sell his LaScalas. I have 7 already, so I don't need any. They are as nice as any of mine. I am holding them at my shop till he decides for sure. Frankly I think the Khorns go very well in that room, and they definitely sound great.

Congrats Dave on the Khorn.  It's hard to imagine having to get rid of La Sala's.  They are just a great speaker.

Agree on all counts.

Craig actually sized up my available living room space and made excellent recommendations.  He was right about improved sound, placement which actually freed up space in the LR, and he was right about the aesthetics as the larger Khorns actually blends better with my other wife-mandated furniture, which greatly increases the likelihood she will like them better.

For me, I like the much larger sound stage and off-axis listening.  The Scala's have great sound, but the Khorns have great sound in every listening position.

Mustang Guy got to hear a couple of tunes through them so maybe he will weigh in with an opinion.

Craig immediately picked up on the sealed 15" sub being way too hot, and the Sherbourn SR-120 has a LOT more capability than I have gotten out of it so far.  I still don't have everything setup properly.

Even with a very rudimentary setup, it still sounds pretty good.  B)
