The History Kid
RP-5's also used K-1083's I believe. The LFE Driver is certainly different in the RP-5, but the mid should still be a K-1083. It's the RP-3 that used the smaller 6.5" driver.

The History Kid
I wonder what the size and response difference is. Obviously both are 8" but I wonder if there's any size difference on the coil or magnet. Surely since the baffles were the same, the mounting hardware should be the same. If the RF-35 drivers should work, I'd imagine the RP-5's would as well. All that being said, many speakers out there used those K-1083's - the RF-3 I and II, 5 and 5 Classic, RB-5 I and II, RC-7, and RS-7's all used them. CECAA850
I would have thought that Klipsch would have used them if they were interchangeable. I'm sure the t/s specs are different.
