mungkiman
Closer than I'd like to get. The fire footage I've seen is truly scary, and it's amazing that no one has yet died in the fire OR the evacuation.
Seadog
Amazing. I wonder why so many had not yet evacuated? Seems like they should have left before the fire was at their door steps.
teaman
Yeah, my heart goes out to my fellow Canadians that are really having a hell of a time with that wildfire. I would sh*t my pants seeing that wall of flames approaching. I have a few friends there that have thankfully evacuated to Edmonton suburbs. Moderators Travis In Austin Posted May 6, 2016 Moderators Share Posted May 6, 2016 (edited) How could this possibly happen? We had wild fires every two years in Malibu, 40 to 50mph winds (Santa Anna's) and not a lot you can do but contain it into a path, they would burn 30 or 40 miles away and burn all the way to the ocean.
