I think the previous owner used a cleaner that resulted in the difference in hue. Otherwise, it looks and sounds fine. I have used it with my Quicksilver mid-monos in my bedroom through Fortes and the sound is great. When I compared my Peach to it, Mark Deneen thanked me for comparing the Peach to a $4,000 pre. If you need a tube pre, I recommend it.
