And some day I might actually spend money on my headphone system like real head-fi's do, like a $1699 amp and $899 cd player and then some electrostatics... ------------------ -justin SoundWise promediatech@Klipsch.com /1-888-554-5665 - RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5s> Email Me
skonopa
I am still using mine. I may eventually upgrade them to something newer, but right now, my interest was in upgrading my living room HT system (at quite a few more $$$). ------------------ Steven Konopa Fredericksburg, VA Denon AVR3802 (Receiver) RF-7 (Fronts) RC-7 (Center) RC-7 (Rear) RS-7 (A Surrounds) Infinity RS2000.5 (B Surrounds - recycled) REL Storm III (Subwoofer 1) Yamaha YST-SW40 (Subwoofer 2 - Recycled) JVC XV-S65GD (DVD) Sharp DX-200 (CD - ancient) RCA DWD490RE (DirecTV/Ultimate TV receiver) Sharp 32 inch (TV)

Pootenheimer
I'm still using mine, too. Got them something like four years ago, still work great. I did just replace the pre-amp a few days ago, so now I don't have to turn it way up and then ease back down to equalize the front left and right volumes, plus having the power button is really nice. I did buy the 5.1s, but that was just for my main entertainment center sound fun. Definitely enough for a small apartment... getting more expensive stuff can wait until later. I did have to replace the 5.1s once (got the first faulty shipment), but the v2-400s have been good to me for years. ------------------ I am Pootenheimer! Movie Freak
I wouldn't trade my V.2-400's for anything. Since upgrading to the CP-1 they have been problem free and loud as hell. I think Amy deserves a round of applause for keeping most of the V.2-400 owners happy. As the Rocker used to say... ROCK ON! ------------------ CP-1 = New Pro's!!!!
