i still use mine. not too often, but they still work. i exchanged them and paid the difference for my 5.1's at Tweeter, then went back to the store and bought back my v2.400's for only $179.95. Smile.gif Still workin'!

but then I would not be an audioholic as Trespasser calls it hehe.

the same reasoni got $450 headphones, $300 amp, and a $200 cd player to go with that system... And some day I might actually spend money on my headphone system like real head-fi's do, like a $1699 amp and $899 cd player and then some electrostatics... Wink.gif

I am still using mine. I may eventually upgrade them to something newer, but right now, my interest was in upgrading my living room HT system (at quite a few more $$$).

I'm still using mine, too. Got them something like four years ago, still work great. I did just replace the pre-amp a few days ago, so now I don't have to turn it way up and then ease back down to equalize the front left and right volumes, plus having the power button is really nice.

I did buy the 5.1s, but that was just for my main entertainment center sound fun. Definitely enough for a small apartment... getting more expensive stuff can wait until later. I did have to replace the 5.1s once (got the first faulty shipment), but the v2-400s have been good to me for years. Biggrin.gif
