SOLD

Located in N. Indiana, South Bend area.

Gorgeous  Cornwall 1 walnut speakers. 1985.  All original drivers which are functioning perfectly. I installed new gaskets between horn lenses and motorboard, new gasket on back panel, new O rings on mid driver to horn lens, updated the B-3 crossovers with Sonicaps from Crites, new 5 way binding posts.  I am happy to audition these.  They are more beautiful in person than in the photos.  Edges are sharp, very few nicks.  Grills are excellent, both original badges.  Consecutive serial numbers.  These are sweet.

$950.00 (listed higher elsewhere).....local pickup much preferred, although I will be happy to drive 50 miles or so to meet up.

Please PM me with interest.  Thanks!!  JimJimbo

^^^ Very nice. What did you replace them with? ^^^

Well, it's not so much a matter of replacing, as it is freeing up some cash to purchase another Mcintosh preamp that is relatively local, beautiful condition and will match very well with my MC30's.

There are several other pairs that are waiting to join the fray.....

Thanks for your compliment, they really are beautiful.

Well, you know, Carl's son in law's Forte II's were more important than my own lowly requirements     Not to mention that loading the CW's in the Explorer would have been quite detrimental to my MPG.....

Thanks all for your compliments.  Picked up the Mcintosh C11 preamp today.  Talked to Tom Manley yesterday (mcintoshaudio.com) about it, and it was an easy decision to go ahead and purchase at the asking price, which was a whole lot less that what we've seen on the bay, etc....will post some pics later.
