Airborne
What center would produce the best sound? The RC 62II or the RP-250C for the RB 61 II speakers?
Moderators Youthman Posted June 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2016 RC62II since it's voice matched to the RB-61II

Moderators Youthman Posted June 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted June 2, 2016 You are welcome. I have not heard the new RP series speakers but I would assume it has a slightly different sound to it having different components. Not to mention, the RC-62II has 6.5" drivers vs only 5.25" drivers in the RP250C
The History Kid
Two threads asking the same question? To reiterate what I said in the other thread - your best bet considering what you've described in your most recent situation is a trio of RP-160's with the RB-61's to the rear. If you are not looking at a new set of three, I'd opt for the RC-62.
yolayoe
Better to match it with whatever are your Fronts R/L as voice will be the same across. Edited June 6, 2016 by yolayoe
RoboKlipsch
I have the rp250c. If what you are wondering is....is the newer one better than the rc52 or rc62? I would say no...and driver size is different. Budget permitting the rc62 is better.
robbiey60
My mate has the 250c. It is ok but the rc62ii is the better center. That and the fact it matches your rb61 horns. 6" 90x60 horn on the rb61 and rc62, 5" 90x90 horn on the rp250c.

Has a bigger horn, bigger woofers, I mean what do you think wouldn't be better about it?
RoboKlipsch
Thinking about it more money is a factor. The rc52 is the cheapest and sounds similar to the rp250c. The rc62 matches size and timber of your current speakers. So rc62 best option rc52 2nd based upon cost
