Hey, I'm just wondering if anyone out there knows what the best devices out there are to get a home wireless connection. I've looked into it, and I like the Linksys routers and wireless cards... but if anyone has any suggestions I would appreicate it. Also, if anyone knows where I can get such things at a realitvely cheap price on the 'net... thanks!

Linksys is the way, cheap and works great.Plus neat blue stylish boxes.

I have a Linksys Gateway/Router(the one with 4 ports on the back, well five if I count the uplink)and three USB Linksys modules. These tiny units come with removable velcro bottom plates.Very nice design and work great.

I paid $125 Canadian per USB module and $230 Canadian for the Gateway/Router.

Linksys also has PCI wireless cards and PCMCIA ones!

Works great and cost peanuts, for high speed internet its great. For super high speed internet or larger networks its too slow.

Go get the Linksys, just beware they are not as fast as a wires 10/100 network.I still use my 3COM switch with 905TX cards from time to time.Greedy bastard me
