jason str
Were not rebuilding aircraft engines here.some might be? Not with a panel saw.
JJkizak
I try to key my saws within +-.004" and when doing 45 degree angle picture frames +/- zero to +.001"/+45.1 degree. Patternmakers use even tighter specs. usually on a Bridgeport. My job was to align them and they were real fussy. JJK
djk
I've been using an H5 for about 20 years, the older ones had metal bearings. https://www.safetyspeed.com/ They claim a basic .005" accuracy, but it is more dependent on the blade you use. They also have scoring saw options, adjustable stops, mid-level fences, etc. Bought two to get a good price, the other one went to a sign shop. The H series is what you see at most cabinet shops and lumber yards. The C series used to start out under $1000, had one of those in our car stereo install area.

Karsoncookie
Circular saw blades are made to flex and going to flex, never going to be perfect any way you cut it. Were not rebuilding aircraft engines here. Ok, go buy a Ryobi circular or tablesaw with a stock fence at Home Depot and be happy. Theres a reason people buy for example Festool at like 4X the $ of "comparible" Or Hilti hammer drills, , same thing. Personally, for more $ of course, I'd prefer this --- http://www.northfieldwoodworking.com/tablesaws/4saw.htm 1500 -3200 lbs. 15K - 36K $ depending on options. They have been in business for 85 years, in MN, USA. Apparently they have buyers. Lars
Karsoncookie
Although, even at those prices, they need to re design their fence. Lars
jason str
I have a Ryobi 1/2" drill i picked up used at Re-tool for cheap. Mixed up 100's of bags of concrete for fence posts, stirred up just as many gallons of paint with it let alone general drilling work. Abused the thing badly in my opinion, still running strong after 12 years let alone how it was used before me. No complaints at all.

Arash
We also consider Altendorf top-notch model the F-45 Elmo with CNC fences. Oh man! it's a hell of a machine... Terminator! for $42K Datasheet
Karsoncookie
Arash - Possibly a used saw ?? Do you get these links when you search in your country?? ?? I don't know anything about shipping/ customs, etc. And I read somewhere - wa80 is German made, but wa8 is Chinese ?? I read that in a few places. Anyway -- some top Google search results for "Altendorf WA8 used" ----- http://www.altendorf.com/en/products/used-machines.html http://www.machinio.com/manufacturer/altendorf https://www.machines4u.com.au/browse/Woodworking-Machinery/Panel-Saw-3/altendorf/ http://www.exfactory.com/Equipment.aspx?type=cat&what=PS Lars

WA80 and F-45 series are made in Germany. F-45 is the best model they build. matter of fact Altendorf is the inventor of sliding-table saw in 1906. Oh man! they have been building such machines since almost a decade before JFK was even born! it's a quite a history IMO Arash,
Karsoncookie
Wow !! That 45% sure kills incentive to buy used. Ridiculous. Lars
JJkizak
I constructed from scratch a 1.5 horsepower table panel saw that would cut a 4 foot by 8 foot sheet of plywood lengthwise. The back and forth motion of the saw was controlled by a garage door opener mechanism. The saw moved on two 2" circular tubes 10 feet long with slide bearings. We used it to cut 4 x 8 sheets of plastic with accuracy. It was cheaper and safer than a slitter. Alas, it died and went to the great panel saw heaven. DizRotus
I had no idea how expensive such saws could be.
Arash
Altendorf F-45 Elmo is almost finalized. I'm also looking for another machine I thought maybe you guys can help me about it. I want a machine that is capable of winding air core inductors with wires up to AWG#12. I searched and found a American company named Bachi. it seems a well-made heavy duty machine. I've mailed them a couple of times but not replied yet after several months. does anybody have any experience or information about this company? I wish we could buy from them
Karsoncookie
I will attempt to contact them Monday. If you PM me your email address, I will give it to them. Lars
mustang guy
I'd bet those are made in America. Shipping and exchange rate may make them expensive as hell. Are there no companies in the EU that make something like that? Looks like something that would be made in Germany...
Karsoncookie
I connected with Bachi. PM sent. Lars
