New Palladium P-17B

I had an issue with my Palladium and Klipsch is handling it. I noticed that the serial numbers are only on the boxes but not on the speakers. Seems odd since I bought them from an authorized legit dealer.

Are you referring to the blown woofer? Are they replacing the woofer or the whole speaker? I have P38s and there aren't serial numbers on them, but they were a factory demo pair, and I thought that was the reason for not having a SN. I did buy a new P27c last year, and that speaker does have a really nice SN plate on the back of the speaker. Spk2.jpg.97b1f3bc744e2c39109e558978d6a3b0.jpg

Me too.

Give me a day or two, and I'll find out.

Sounds like gray market goods as that is a normal tactic.

But why remove the s/n?

I believe the S/N on my 38's was located on the bottom of the metal base plate, though I'm not 100% on that. Might be worth checking just to be sure (if you haven't already).

Indeed they are underneath. Thanks for pointing that out.
