Woofers and Tweeters
iPad is so much smarter than me. Bondo = bonds. You might need to remove the entire side. Actually might not be that bad if you are going to paint or re veneer. Yes, I probably will. Unless I used a filler and re-veneer. it would be impossible to return them to a natural finish. I have no time or money to put into these.
Woofers and Tweeters
Shoot, just start sanding, Get the char off and move along from there... I did a light sanding...actually I gave the hell. The pictures of the better one shows the burn is a little deep. The other one will have to either have new plywood or a filler and painted. Karsoncookie
Re veneer in this case is like trying to do breast increase augmentation on Bella Abzug or Karl Malden. Lars

Woofers and Tweeters
I'd put em in the basement and listen to them. Over spray on a painting project? No problem. That's what they're going to do. Like a stray dog, they are wagging their tail and happy to be here.
Woofers and Tweeters
All I see is Bill Murray in caddy shack saying "I don't think the heavy stuff is gonna come down for quite a while" Probably won't buff out but unless the entire thickness of the plywood is compromised, you should be able to fill in with bonds or similar to get a solid substrate. You're right. I can keep sanding, but I'll be looking at the inside and they'll need more sanding
