stereohermit01
I noticed most lascalas I see have a small splitter. I happen to have the Beast splitter. Is there any consensus is which one is preferred. jimjimbo
Could you post a few photos of the actual speakers from a few angles?
Matthews
I've never seen the yellow one. Is that in the Scala II's?
Coytee
I would ask how you can even see that, were you using a mirror? I've owned mine since 1979 and have never been able to see that section...... it remains to this day, an eyeball virgin!! How tall is the slot in the throat? Maybe they went from one length to a different length and the different length mated with the different splitter? Not to be rude but, is this a genuine Klipsch speaker? Matthews
It is very simple, "Coytee" Flip your Scala upside down. Take the dog house hatch off. Next remove the woofer. And there you have it, tah-dah - the "splitter".
Coytee
I want to preserve their virginity.... Now, if one goes through the gymnastics of what you say....will you see enough of the splitter to measure it like that?
moray james
this is one of those times I would place my total trust in PWK. Paul spent decades optimizing the LaScala and it is probably the very best of its kind and for its size superb. Nothing has bettered it. Stick with what works they tried it all and the way it is is the way it should be imo.
Matthews
Getting ready to tear into another pair this weekend. Will take some photos and see about measurements for you.
avguytx
Maybe they were made on "Mary Jane Monday"? Or is that Friday?

MookieStl
Could that be the "splitter" for a Belle, since the horn is folded slightly different than the LS? Wider and not as deep. I have both but not quite curious enough to start taking them apart.
Marvel
Most of the ones I have seen look like a 2x2 cut across the diagonal... and smaller than I would have thought. But they should be at a 45 degree reflector... This is from my older (1980) LS... Bruce Edited July 15, 2016 by Marvel

Can you post a photo of the entire speaker? And maybe the label on the back with the model and serial number? Mark

drboar
I had à horn very similar to LS "kuben " . In this horn thr effect of splitter and corner reflectors varied with the used driver, the same probably holds true for LS. I used double sided tape for the splitter and reflectors.
