onemoretime
Anyone using Klipsch Professional speakers in their HT setup?A buddy has a pair of wedge-shaped stage monitors and I'm tempted to use them as rear surrounds. How well voiced would they be for HT, and how do you connect from a home theater AVR to what appears to be locking 1/4" jacks?
Scrappydue
Hard to say how his monitors would sound without knowing what they are. I am one of many who use cinema products in my theater. Used to have a link to my build in my signature but that's not allowed anymore.
mustang guy
I think he means Heresy Slant Monitors HSM. I think they would be awesome surrounds if you fit them into the corners about 2' down from the ceiling. Hooking them up is no big deal. You could also invert them so you get the increased bass response from corner loading on the ceiling corner. teaman
I had my Heresy Slant Monitors in my HT for a bit and they sounded great. They are not great on the low end of course so the accompaniment of a sub works amazing with them.
mustang guy
If he means the KSM monitors, they look a LOT like the modern and even past Klipsch pro Cinema stuff. KSM: KPT-250: KPT-100: Edited July 19, 2016 by mustang guy
onemoretime
Sorry, should have specified. KSM-12's, slant cabinets. Can't mount on the walls due to space, they'd have to be on the floor as rear surrounds. Only way to work in my limited HT space.

They actually bring decent money, and buy a set of real surrounds.

I don't currently own them... but sounds like I shouldn't try to deal for them - thanks!
