Good day all.

Thank you for adding me to this forum.

I live in Australia and have owned a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls serial # 13 and 14 (hand written on the back Klipsch sticker in blue ink.

 Serial sticker lists

Type; Cornwall

Serial; 013 & 014

Inspected (signed) J Di Ryan

Tested; (signed) N.Gallop.

Some numbers inside; (off #014.)

((I had to open this in 1994 to replace a part Coil /transformer/choke)

The service from Klipsch was excelent! and the speakers are still working perfectly))

2304   8304 Network Klipsch Balancing Network Type B3

Horn Mid tweeter; K 52 H

Horn Tweeter back plate # 811

14   824   0137

Woofer K33E 678316

My question is when was this set of speakers made?

I bought these second hand in a little audio store here in Perth around 1992.

 Kind regards

Bert

The K-52-H driver was used in the early '80s.  I have a pair of '83 Heresy's with that squawker driver.  The serial numbers in that era usually began with a letter code that indicated the year.

The current set up.

A bit of a compromise as the wall unit is 6 mtrs wide and this is a bit to wide.

Have the mission 770S playing in tandem with the Klipsch and the overall sond stage is supreme! Brittish bland with USA Bland = sound heaven for this chappie!
