Schu
I am selling my spare set of Alethea Audio Jupiter Cap'ed B type Cornwall Crossovers. No Hyperbole... no snake oil... just fantastical sounding and superbly, built Klipsch circuit with excellent top shelf parts. I think these are priced well at $575 shipped... ryanm84
Those look nice good luck with the sale.
tlarwa
These would be perfect in my new Cornwall 1's. Would pretty much blow my budget though, so I have to give that some serious thought...
Thaddeus Smith
Note to whoever buys these: make sure you mount them horizontally on top of the port, not on the sides like OEM networks.
CECAA850
Heck, I'd put those purdy buggers on the top of the cabs for show.
Thaddeus Smith
Heck, I'd put those purdy buggers on the top of the cabs for show. That's how I had them. (sorry for the crapping Schu.. free bumps?)
Budman
Note to whoever buys these: make sure you mount them horizontally on top of the port, not on the sides like OEM networks. the tweeter wires won't reach the crossover at the port location
Thaddeus Smith
New internal wiring would be required (and recommended if you're upgrading to these things)
Schu
Agreed mike, you need to extend your wiring to mount horizontal or lay on top, not a big deal and pretty straight forward. they were meant to be viewed, unlike my other set that is mounted in the OEM position. I would not even consider selling these, but I am trying to get something else and these would merely be sitting peaceful in a box on the shelf... which is a shame. Someone else should definitely be listening to them. postscript: unlike most, I don't mind the thread banter
Thaddeus Smith
Also of note is that these include the newer autoformers that Dean commissioned last year, which are built on a larger frame and wax impregnated.

muel
Note to whoever buys these: make sure you mount them horizontally on top of the port, not on the sides like OEM networks. Why? I mean I understand they would look really nice sitting on top of the cabinet but what about this requires mounting them flat?
Frzninvt
Component weight.

I mean I understand they would look really nice sitting on top of the cabinet but what about this requires mounting them flat? Component weight. Basically. It's not a guaranteed issue, but it seemed to be the one frustration Dean had with these builds - gravity and the weight of these Jupiter caps.
