Abuse & Neglect

Well I have rescued a pair of abused CF4's from a dysfunctional home. Paid 800 bucks for them. The cabinets were in bad shape, there were some nicks in the front of the cabinet, 2 woofers were blown, 1 X-Over is junk and they need love. So I have stripped all the drivers and the X-Overs out of both of them. I have to buy 4 new drivers and 2 new X-Overs because they don't carry the same drivers or X-Overs anymore. I'm going to send them off to a really good woodman of mine to have them stripped down to bare wood and new veneer put on and stained. It breaks my heart to see someone abuse their KLIPSCH like this. We need a hotline to report speaker abuse. Anyone else ever restore a pair of KLIPSCH?

I talked to Trey the other day and he said that there are still dealers who have them. So if I did enough searching from dealer to dealer I'm sure I could find a pair...thing is I already have a pair. Now I am working on KLF 20's and the C7. I'm glad we KLIPSCH owners stick together smile.gif
