Jeff Matthews Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Hi, Chad. I've been noticing an issue with quoting posts. I am not 100% positive on the pattern, but it seems like this: If you choose to quote part of someone's post, the quote will show up in your "reply to post." So far, so good. If you change your mind and decide not to post, then, the old quote seems to stay in the reply box. Even if you choose some other quote, it doesn't matter. The first quote stays in the reply box. Even if you refresh the page, same issue. Quote
CECAA850 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 I thought it was just my phone acting stupid but I've noticed the exact same thing. Quote
Chris A Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 That's not a bug (IMO)...that feature seems to be there in case the forum goes down or you get otherwise disconnected. It's certainly new. I like the new feature. It's clearly easy to erase anything that's been saved that you don't want later, but much more difficult to remember exactly what was typed when the forum went down, or otherwise disconnected. It's certainly new. This is correct. Also, if you want to delete the quoted box(s), you can place your cursor at the beginning of the line immediately following the quote, and hit backspace. 1 Quote

I was battling trying to highlight all of it and press "Delete" and trying to press "Delete" at the beginning. Quote
CECAA850 Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 So you have to delete your last quote if you want to quote again? Quote
