Scrappydue
how about a pic of the front end we are talking about? it will help. you need a GOOD size platform to accommodate the spacing of the three spikes on this center.

doggydoc10
Hey Bill thank you for the info. I was looking for a shelf type to attach to the wall. I do think that one is cool but apparently is discontinued according to that webpage Always at sea;Dr. Antonio Longo

fuzzydog
Why not just get a tv console?
Scrappydue
A shelf big enough could easily be made. Just make sure you get really big angle brackets that will support that weight and freakin lag bolt that baby to some studs and there you go. Might line the wall just out of sight with some foam or something to absorb stuff from the rear ports. Behind the mains would be nice as well

Get some beefy, decorative L braces from the home center and mount a nice shelf there. I did some floating shelves for surrounds and secured them with deco braces. Pinpoint mounts have some L type mounts but they are only rated for 30 lbs. http://www.pinpointmounts.com/AM-15_Center_Channel_Speaker_Mount.html (heres the link to get an idea)
