Woofers and Tweeters
I like the Walnut finish. Your son might make a deal wit the seller.

ZEUS121996
"Parts alone on these are upwards of $1200. When do you ever see a pair like this." Wow a bargain at $400. Can someone please explain to me why Heresys cost more than Quartets? Same footprint and bass that kicks it. And you can find Quartets for $300-400 fairly regularly or over pay for Heresys which really do need a sub to compete. Maybe because it's the baby of the line, next to the Chorus 2 and Forte 2, everyone should consider Quartets unless space is at a premium Mark
jimjimbo
It's the name...Heresy is cool, Quartet is....meh.
Grizzog
I actually chose to keep my HIII over my fully-upgraded Quartets. The Heresy are also the Heritage series vs. the "extended Heritage." Nostalgia does play a role.

edzu1234
The Heresy is "NOW" speaker. The only thing that sets it apart from the Quartet is easier positioning (no passive) and it has a smaller footprint. Plus, they look cool on the tilted risers. Woofers and Tweeters
I think the main difference is the larger (more free) mid horn and the lower bass in the Quartet. Never had the Quartet, yet. Most speak well of both.
