Why:  We had the theater system of our dreams.  It was our favorite thing - to listen to movies in our theater room.  My husband got a job promotion and we are moving from Kenai to a more expensive area (Anchorage).  So, our home size went down.  We no longer have a family room, or even a full wall to put anything.  So, we have carefully taken the system down so that we can sell it to someone who knows how great they are.

Timing:  We are literally one week from moving out of our home.  So, I am starting this post now, and will return to post pictures.  My current pictures are too big for the required total of 2MB.

Cost:  We are reading the posts on here to see if it aligns with what we see on e-bay and other speaker sites.  If you are interested, please contact us with serious inquiries only.

We have a speaker panel to control the speakers as well.  I just have to figure out how to get my max total size of pictures down to post those.

Out of 7 speakers total, and 1 subwoofer (with amplifier)...we had 2 speakers at the front of the room, 2 in the back, and then 1 on each side of the room (6) total.

Then we had the center sound speaker.  Incredible.  They are all in mint condition without scratches.  We have a Klipsch information book for each one.

I took a few pictures before we dusted the controls for the speakers and the amplifier which I will repost after we move.  We never touched the speaker panel or subwoofer panel, so they got dusty.

That is one way to get a sub off the floor. Is that part of some kind of an infinite baffle setup or just corner mounted above the door?

Good luck with the sale, I am up here in Palmer and if you had Ref IV gear I would be on my way down ASAP.

Hi All,

Replying to your comments.

Yes, the subwoofer was mounted above the door (bathroom) with an air vent put in front of it.  You can see the air vent in the main theater room.

I can't believe how wonderful it sounds when it is up above (like an IMAX movie).

Now, as we move to a new house, I'm so bummed that we can't do the same thing.  I'm spoiled now, because I don't want a subwoofer taking up floor space now.

Yes, it is very heavy.  We just took it down the other night for the move.

As for the speakers, yes, they sound great.  I think that Klipsch had better quality items back when they made these.

Thanks All.

I agree for the most part with your last sentence. I think the overall sound quality back in these days was better than the new speakers offer. The detail may be a little better now but the oomph factor is definitely lacking.
