Dragonfly DACS - superb little units

I have the 1.2. It does a great job with timing and smoothness. Sounds very spacious. It's a teeny bit warm and doesn't prioritize extreme detail the way that I would prefer, but it mates well with my Adcom.

I've been wondering if the new DragonFly Red will offer the clinical detail reproduction that I desire.

I found the D/F very musical, and that's with classical music no less.  The ballyhooed Jitterbug wasn't an improvement, so maybe consider waiting for others' comments.

I liked the addition of the Jitter bug, but my old farmhouse electrical system was an obstacle perhaps.

When I get around to getting a Furman higher end power conditioner the jitter bug may not be necessary.

Regardless  the Dragonfly is an inexpensive component to improve streaming music in my Samsung AMD A8 quad core laptop.

I will upgrade to the Dragonfly Red in the next year.
