dtr20
I am having a hard time finding replacement caps for forte ii's and chorus ii's. I have a list of the caps I need, but I couldn't find some on parts-express. Below is my list Forte II 2 x 110 microfarad 100 volt 2 x 1.5 microfarad 250 volt 4 x 2 microfarad 250 volt Chorus II 2 x 68 microfarad 100 volt 2 x 6 microfarad 250 volt 4 x 2 microfarad 250 volt

dtr20
So 110 microfarad isn't listed, so does that mean I buy a 10 and a 100 and put then together to make the 110? Sorry, I really don't know anything about caps. Thanks
Deang
The large values are electrolytics, which are part of the low pass, and sit in parallel with the woofer. You can use 100uF - it'll be perfectly fine. The 6uF in the Chorus II is an electrolytic - I would change it out with a Dayton. You will have to get creative with placement. jimjimbo
You can wire two 3.0uf in parallel.... or a 4 +2....Done it many times. .also, Crites carries a 6.0uf Sonicap.

oldred
I do have a few pics ....One that Bob sends out as a before and after for Chorus II.... Second one is from a set of Fort'e II's that I just finishes ...you can see the ones wired in parallel. G.E.M.
