BluBitRates
I currently have a pair of RF-82ii, a pair of RF-35 and a RC-35. I think the RF-35 sounds better but it is not a big difference. I have a chance to get a pair of RF-62ii for not an unreasonable pric locally. I prefer not to hang speakers on my wall. Would it be a big sacrifice to use these as surrounds? The tweeter would sit a bit low. I could get a pair of rs-35s locally but they are a little beat up where the RF-82ii and rf-62ii are in perfect shape but i will have to buy a rc-62ii
derrickdj1
The RS 35 is an excellent surround. Most towers used as surround are not up high enough for optimal surround placement IMHO. Use Ebay, Craigslist and Search tempest to find a nice pair of RS 35's. They can be found $200-250.
BluBitRates
I am moving into a new house and would really rather not mount anything on the wall as of right now either :-/ i am getting the rf-62ii for $350 in perfect shape. I can always use them in a bedroom. I am in northwest IN too, do you have anything for sale
Scrappydue
You could always find something to set the 62's on to raise them a few inches.

If only the guy in my area would budge from $550 on his rf-82ii pair.
BluBitRates
I picked up the RF-62ii and they look perfect. I was slightly concerned there was a tonal difference in one from the other so i reached out to some local forum members and jimjimbo not only came to my house to listen, but brought me a klipsch heritage t-shirt. Nice guy. We came to the conclusion that i am a bit crazy and that the speakers are playing fine! Now i have to go listen to his extensive heritage collection sometime! Thanks again Jim
jimjimbo
I enjoyed our time together. Nope, you're not crazy, just sometimes difficult to discern and identify what may, or may not be, small issues at low listening levels. Looking forward to seeing and listening at your new place soon! Keep in touch.
Paducah Home Theater
Biggest issue is that you need to get some space between them and the outside seat. Don't fire them into the ears of somebody from 3' away, it will sound awful.
