ryanm84
I'm selling my barely used B2 crossovers by Aletheia Audio. I installed them mid August (sounded wonderful) and then bought khorns 3 weeks later. Maybe 20 hours on them max. Built with Jensen, Dayton, and paper in oil. See pics. There are holes in the mounting board as I did install them. Asking $585 plus shipping (net to me if using PayPal).

Schu
Best thing for your cornwalls folks... you shouldnt wait if you have any inclination. Beter than waiting for a build.
jimjimbo
Is it ok to ask what these cost "new"? If not, I get it......

ryanm84
still available. I noticed the pictures were a little dark. I'm going to post a couple new ones in a bit.
ryanm84
They look huge in this shot but the mounting board is 7.25x10. and of course these wouldn't be for sale except I lucked way out and got a pair of khorns to replace!

Deang
I charged either $650 or $675, which included shipping. I charged a lot for labor - $150 per board. I know it seems like a lot, but I put a lot of time into each build, and my time is valuable to me.
ryanm84
Thanks for your reply Dean. It was the second amount of those.
Deang
Sounds right - $675 with shipping included. Shipping generally runs me $45 because of the weight (the new autoformer and low pass coil are much heavier than what Bob or Al use) - and then of course the oak and capacitors - all heavier than what's normally used. jimjimbo
Thank you Dean and Ryan for the gesture. Ask a polite question, get a polite answer....
CWeber
Hi, would these be direct replacements for my 74 verticals. Plug &play ?? what change in sound could I expect..
Deang
Yes. Smoother, more open, cleaner,
ryanm84
As I mentioned to someone else in a PM, I installed one at a time so I could see if there was a difference. There was. My wife and I noticed right away that the sound was better. sound is subjective so I won't begin to put any adjectives here. We really enjoyed spinning vinyl or iPod on random on Friday nights while the Cornwalls sang.
Mighty Favog
Gritting my teeth right now because I have a pair of Cornscalas (CW1526C / PD5-VH / CT120) that these would work great in. B2's are crossed at 600Hz, correct??
ryanm84
I believe that to be true. 600hz
