Tweeter diaphragms in KG5.5 and Chorus II

I'm not sure I follow that line of thought. The Chorus woofer is a "pro" driver with the thinner cone, larger voice-coil and accordion style surround making it in all likeliness the better candidate for upper mid range frequencies.

I think more to the point is the horn that is used in each speaker. The Cornwall III and Heresy III both use the same horn, the k-701, which is smaller than the one the Chorus II and forte II use, the k-601. From what I understand you want the mid horn playing down as low as possible, which is why the "Cornscala" was born where they took out the k-600 horn and replaced it the much larger k-400 from the Klipschorn.

These are the published specs although I do not believe them to be accurate as I believe they are the same as the forte II also listed below:

Chorus II:

CROSSOVER FREQUENCY: HF 5,000 Hz
LF 600 Hz

forte II:

CROSSOVER FREQUENCY: HF 7,000 Hz
LF 650 Hz
