jimjimbo
Honestly, I didn't see anything different that what I've seen a thousand times in San Diego, L.A, SF, Seattle, Atlanta, etc, etc, etc. Lots of bikers hurt and killed doing this.
wvu80
He's riding a Super Motard, a KTM 690 Duke. It can fly. Someone in the comments identified it as a Yamaha XJ600 but the bars look to me like the KTM.

Woofers and Tweeters
He and the others will quit riding like that, or Darwin will stop them.
CECAA850
That would scare the crap out of me if I was just sitting there in traffic and didn't see him coming.
JJkizak
I actually watched the entire video. All it would take is one very bi-polar maniac to open his left door a few seconds before impact and there would be body parts all over the road. Has a really low center of gravity so it is very stable and can turn quickly. He liked to go really fast on open country roads though, like 90 mph was the norm, and claimed that it was unstable and too light and had bad geometry for such things. BigStewMan
all we need now is a someone lane splitting while doing a wheelie.

I found a KTM690 sound track, and you are correct, it can't be a 690. The sound is wrong, the entire front instrument cluster is wrong. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ktm+690+duke+sound&view=detail&mid=FBC19566EECB85DEB632FBC19566EECB85DEB632&FORM=VIRE So you think it's the Yamaha? Man that thing revs fast!

BigStewMan
if i read his speedometer correctly, at one point, it appeared to read 119. I think that would be Kilometers; but, lane splitting at over 70 mph is still really dumb.

Not sure what they are reving to now days. When I was racing, the Yamaha R6 would red line at 15,500. Fast enough to direct couple wood working tools to it.
wvu80
I used to race motocross in the 250 class, Honda, KTM, Husqvarna. But we both know the secret to enjoying our biking experience is to share it with friends.
