Shaun K
So I've got these lovely Chorus speakers from @Matthews and not enough real power to feed them. I'm looking for a stereo amp in the range of 150-300 wpc. Budget is around $500, but I'm open to something further up or down that price point depending on what it is. Recommendations are welcome too, if you aren't selling anything
willland
I know you mentioned 150w to 300w, but I would highly consider this beauty. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ele/5820997400.html Are you looking to add an outboard amp to say your Onkyo 806, a preamp/amp combo, or an integrated amp? derrickdj1
Oldred is selling : it is 125 watt X5 in case you add more speakers. The difference in power of 125 vs 150 watts is very small. Also, going from 150 to 300 watts only get's you 3 more decibles. Oldred has gear in good shape and no crap shoot.
Woofers and Tweeters
I like my Onkyo M504 and M508. They're very solid amps.

Bill For now I just want to add an outboard amp to the 606, but eventually I would want to go with a full preamp/amp combo. For now though I'm just running 3.1 and won't be expanding until we move to a larger house in 2018. And yes that Yamaha is beautiful...I've been watching it for a few days and wondering where I could even put it. Must..resist

Shaun K
You'd think I would check that first huh? I guess I can swap it with the 806 upstairs, no one else in the house will notice.
willland
Here is an excellent sounding amp with plenty of oooomph to drive your Chorus speakers. Great price at $650.00 even though it is a tad higher than your $500.00. https://www.audiogon.com/listings/solid-state-nad-c275bee-power-amplifier-2016-10-20-amplifiers-94102-san-francisco-ca Bill
teaman
I have a brand new never opened Emotiva UPA-200 stereo amp if you are interested. Here is a review, great sounding amp as this is the second one I have owned. $300 shipped to you if you are interested. https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/review-emotiva-upa-200-amplifier I also have a pair of Outlaw Audio mono block amps M2200 pushing 200 wpc that offer both balanced and unbalanced inputs. I was going to hold on to them until I get my Sherbourn receiver set up in that room but i would part with them early if you are interested. $400 for the pair shipped to you if interested. They sell for $379 apiece. https://outlawaudio.com/products/2200.html Tim
willland
I would suggest this amp all day long to anyone. Cool running, quiet as a mouse, excellent bass drive, and about as neutral sounding as you can find. http://www.ebay.com/itm/351880225577?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I currently own an Acurus A200 and A200x3 and have owned an A200, (2)A250's, (2)A150's, (2)200FIVE's, (1)200x3, (1)A100, and (1)A100x3. @Youthman owns an A200 and @CHASLS2 owns an A250 or 200x3 not sure. He listened and changed the item description to a more accurate assessment. Good job seller This other ebay seller however, I would have no problem doing business with. He has several, recently serviced, m1.5t units listed for sale. As well, he has excellent feedback for many high end audio component sales.
