Zen Traveler
Several of us used to have intense biblical discussions here and I just finished this book and remembered how @Mallette tried to get me interested in the newer stuff! 😎
Marvel
Haha... what did he mean by newer? I am sure that I had posted about a predestination, written for Catholic seminarians. I still haven't worked my way through it. After reading a few pages I always had to mull it over for quite a while. Then, going back to tje book it made sense... and I could read further. Those were some great conversations. Certainly miss Mallette around here.

Lol. 😁 I have a continued fascination with the Dead Sea Scrolls and several of us enjoyed speaking/thinking about the historical Jesus. He desperately wanted me to read the material, but at the time my hands were full. On 12/20/2024 at 9:13 PM, Marvel said: ...Those were some great conversations. Certainly miss Mallette around here. I just now started 'The Time-travelling Caveman' which are some of his early short stories. Also, the book A Stroke of the Pen is some of his work using a pseudonym.

I still have a couple of the Discworld books that I can't get from my library, but I haven't read any of his short stories, so that should be fun.
